Holding Up the Universe by Jennifer NivenMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Libby Strout was dubbed "World's Fattest Teen" after her house had to be literally cut open to get her out. This book takes place several years later, after she has lost some weight and makes the choice to return to "normal" existence at her local public school. Jack Masselin appears to have it all, but he is silently suffering prosopagnosia (he cannot recognize faces). This book is narrated by both Libby & Jack; read to find out what these two teens have in common & how their lives intertwine. If you liked Niven's other book, "All the Bright Places," you should definitely give it a try. I enjoyed it!
