Panic by Lauren Oliver

This book made me panic!  "Panic" is a game played by high school seniors in the summer after graduation.  Students who choose to play must successfully complete deadly challenges in an effort to win a large cash prize.  Heather never thought she'd play, but she is desperate to win so she can leave the poverty of her small home town.  As she competes, she learns so much about herself and makes friends with an unlikely boy with goals and secrets of his own. This book is intense but a great story about discovering your strengths and navigating complex relationships.
