Since Darcy Jones was dropped off at a fire station at age 5, she has lived in a series of foster homes, not knowing anything about her parents or the first five years of her life. Then, as she starts her junior year of high school, a new student focuses on her and triggers events that will change her life and open her memories.
What I loved about this book: In the story, the struggle for identity and for doing the right thing is very powerfully written. It has a compelling love story - and I also really love Darcy's friends!
